I Am Looking For A Dr. Familiar with Dercum's Disease-Painfiul Lipomas

Need Help. Looking for a Dr. in the Naples - Ft. Myers FL area who is familiar with Dercum's disease and/or painful lipomas. I have several painful lipomas that need to be diagnosed and removed. The most painful lipomas are in my chest- rib - side area. The excruciating pain is causing my Heart rate to escalate and my Blood pressure to go up to 160/100. The only Dr. I have found who is familiar with this disease is Dr. Karen Herbst in California. Thank you.

Both approached sound reasonable. If you are very concerned then it might be best to simply remove it. Discuss with your surgeon.

May want to consider SmartLipo, especially if you have several relatively close to each other.  The scar is smaller that a typical liposuction access scar. Sometimes conventional liposuction hard to do because the lipomas are so small.
