I, 31 (F) got lip filers from 2017-2021, I cant say how many I got but I believe it was all Juvaderm. I got them dissolved (1 syringe) in 2021 because I had a lump in my inner lip. The pain was pretty bad but at least it was gone. Recently, I thought about getting more filler but wanted to know if I needed to dissolve more? I dont feel that I do, but it was recommended I do because I have filler migration (I dont see it) and that filler moves to the migration if more is added.
So Ive wanted lip fillers for years and Ive had consults with doctors. They all tell me its best or well the only way to avoid bumps, lumps, migration and or necrosis or vascular occlusion is to go slow and build over time so like 1ml each visit maybe less. This is a bit tough for me to grasp because I want my end goal outcome straight away after waiting so long. Can you all help me feel okay with going slow? I have my appointment next month for juvaderm
Its 5yrs since I had filler (restylane, juvederm) injected in under eye area. After last injection, area was bruised & swollen-took months for the swelling & discoloration to heal. For 5yrs whenever I smile, under eye nodules (soft) visible there. Tried Hyalurondaise injections. No change. Met with Manhattan plastic surgeon. He doesnt want to touch it.Another p.surgeon said lumps may be old filler/water collecting there. Wont do biopsy-concerned about scaring. PLEASE help me!
I asked previously and wasn't quite clear, I had Juvaderm XC injected into N/L folds in November. I still feel where the material is located, and there is asymmetry on left side of my face (as if enough wasn't injected) possibly. I called the provider and asked for a follow up and was advised it wasn't needed. Should I see another physician? Are the lumps and blobs under the skin normal, they are hard, some days more prominent than others? Is this normal?
46 yo F, single mom. I had an upper Bleph done back in 21 and had 1yr f/u. Noticed under eye had wrinkles and hollowness. I inquired about filler was told I was a good candidate. I hated it. I had lumps, tyndall effect, overfill on my cheeks creating more hollowness. After 2 mo, I got a little dissolved, still wasn't right. Went back 3 mo and got it all dissolved, but now I look WAY worse. I still see pockets of filler (looks like I have bags) and loss of skin elasticity. Help.
I had a nasolabial filler over a year ago with Juvederm and have now developed a lump under my right eye for the last 6 months which still has not been diagnosed after having ultrasound; seeing a dermatologist and now seeing a Maxillofacial specialist. The lump swells up if touched with an pressure and then goes down after some days or weeks. It also moves around my face but remains on the RHS. Can anyone help with what this might be. Thanks so much.
I had students inject juvederm into my laugh lines. I ended up with a long raised line along side of my laugh lines from top to bottom. I look twice as bad as I used to look . Can I try and smooth th hard stuff over to where it is suppost to be. I dont have any cash to correct it or I would have already done that. I had this done 10weeks ago
Hi, I had restylane in my lips just over a year ago and Ive had tiny white lumps on my top lip ever since having them done, when I rub my tongue over my lips I can feel them. I went back to the lady who done my lips and she said it was just where she had stretched the skin and it would go, I was sure this wasnt the case and they still havent gone. I would like to get them done again but I dont want to risk this happening again and worried they wont ever go? Thanks
