I'm 4 weeks after Rhinoplasty and I'm not impressed with a result! My nose looks too long and pointed down! I know it is only 4 weeks, but I'm scared that nose won't go up? Is it going to change ? Will my nose will ever look shorter? Please help!
Answer: Long nose A long nose is the result of a large hump resection and lack of tip support. This can occur after an open rhinoplasty when the supporting adhesions are released. Your nasolabial angle ( upper lip to horizontal part of your lower nose is too acute in my aesthetic oppinion. This can be corrected with a revision by rotating the tip up and securing in place with a columellar graft for support. I'm sorry your result is not what you desired. Good news is that it can be corrected.Cheers

Answer: Dr Paweł Szychta It's completely normal to feel uncertain about your rhinoplasty results at 4 weeks, as healing from this surgery takes time and patience. At this stage, your nose is still swollen, especially the tip, which can make it look longer and more downward-pointing than the final result. The tip of the nose usually takes the longest to heal, and it's common for it to remain swollen for several months. Here's what you can expect over the coming weeks and months: 1. Swelling reduction: As the swelling continues to go down, your nose will likely appear less long and less downward-pointing. This can take several months, with most of the swelling subsiding within 3 to 6 months, but subtle changes may continue for up to a year. 2. Tip refinement: The tip of the nose typically takes the longest to settle. It may continue to change in shape and position as the swelling diminishes and the tissues heal. 3. Consult your surgeon: If you're feeling very concerned, it’s a good idea to talk this.

Answer: The tip will not go up After surgery, the nose falls down over time, but it is unlikely that it will start to rise up over time. Of course, the nose will change over time - it will be slimmer, but the tip will not go up.

Answer: My nose is droopy and too long after Rhinoplasty, is it going to change? Comparing the before to after posted photos I see an improvement BUT... You will not be satisfied as I see your responses. The operation was very conservative but acceptable. If you desire revision wait at least 6 months...
