Although it is difficult to judge based only on one image from the front, it does appear that most of your implant volume is in the upper area of your breast. Many patients would not be concerned about this and some might even prefer it. This causes the nipples to appear somewhat low on the breast mound and point straight forward instead of slightly upward. If you do not like your present nipple position, I would discuss it with our plastic surgeon. Correction may be as simple as: Application of an upper pole bandeau (elastic band) for a few weeks to help push the implants downward. If this were not successful, a release of the lower pole capsule (capsulotomy) would certainly solve the problem.
From the view I see, I don't think your nipples are too low however I'm not sure your implants have settled enough to be centered on your breast. Perhaps a return to your plastic surgeon is in order at this time. I always advise checking the credentials of your plastic surgeon and make sure they are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Best Wishes!!
I think that your results are quite good. Your nipple position on the breast is slightly low, but not unusually so. In fact, they look more natural than if they were higher, even though some people think that a slightly higher position is more attractive. Although, you could have a surgeon try to lower the IMF to allow the implants to fall slightly lower, I certainly would not recommend it. I would not expect there to much change without intervention now that you are 9 months post op though.
hi, nipples have to be at a distNce from the sternal notch to complete a grade of ptosis. implants will be softer and will be looser. also ask your PS about inverted nipples. this is not a problem, right now, sometimes it is when you lactate. this can be corrected.
The implants will continue to soften and settle for a year. A little inward and downward massage can facilitate this. You should have a fine result. Good Luck!
Picture looks like you're going to get a good result. Your nipples are not too low. The volume of the breast implant will readjust in time in the breast should look just fine.
At nine months, any further change is rather unlikely. \ I think your nipple and areolar position are normal in appearance. I would not encourage any further surgery. Best wishes.
Everyone is different with healing time so your breasts can change up to a year. Hopefully with continued massage and a little more patience on your end, they should settle nicely and your nipples will appear more centered. Continue your follow up appointments with your PS so your progress can be monitored. ac
You are in final healed state. You have deficient inferior poles bilaterally. Revision surgery can correct.
Hi.. You don't have a bad result, but you implants definitely will not drop after 9 months. If you are sure you are not happy, the implant pockets can be lowered so that your nipples are in better position.
The reason that scars turn pink with an increase in cardio is due to the fact that they are filled with small blood vessels. Yes, even the scars need blood early on. As the scar matures, the majority of the blood vessels will regress and the "pink" appearance of the scar will fade. This may take...
I have all my patients bring a sports bra with them into the operating theatre and they wear it day and night for the first 2 weeks. It is unlikely that you have damaged the implant wearing a sports bra. The swelling in your breasts following your surgery will still be settling, and it may be...
