Indent After Wearing a Sports Bra That Was Too Tight/small...worried?

I am 2 weeks post op and I had bought a new sports bra to wear at night. When I had laid flat, the sports bra rose up a bit. In the morning I had an indent from the bottom of the sports bra, on both my breasts, between my incisions (Inframammary Incision) and areola. It is now the end of the second day since and they are still there. I am worried I have permanently indented the implant or caused some sort of damage. I just want to be sure this will disappear, and if not what I can do about it.

No damage will be sustained by type bra. Breast support is good after augmentation but doesn't need to be so tight that the soft tissue of the breast is indented.

I have all my patients bring a sports bra with them into the operating theatre and they wear it day and night for the first 2 weeks. It is unlikely that you have damaged the implant wearing a sports bra. The swelling in your breasts following your surgery will still be settling, and it may be that the elastic in the bra is indenting the swelling/fluid still present.

	The safest thing is to go back and see your plastic surgeon to make sure it's all ok.

It is doubtful that you have damaged your breast with your sports bra. You are still in the healing phase, and your breast are still changing. Follow up with your Plastic Surgeon for your best result!
