My nipples have become large and swollen? How can I treat this?

i am male guy of 22 year old before 5 yers ago my nippels became large and swalloed but the is no pain in my nippels thy have approximatly 1.5 inch in size . i am totlly tension about them tell me how to treat it

It sounds that you are describing gynecomastia, which can be repaired with gland excision and liposuction of the chest. If the actual nipples are big, they can be reduced in size as well.Samir Shureih MD. FACS.sshureih@msn.com

Hello and thank you for your question.Without a photo or
an examination it is difficult to provide advice to you.  It's possible
that you have some form of gynecomastia or you may just have large areola. Both
of these things can be addressed surgically.  I recommend that you see a
board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to get more specific answers to
your questions which can best be addressed after a thorough history and
examination is performed.
