Well, as you can tell have a very narrow chin. I have always HATED it. I feel like the sharp of my face appears disfigured and overall unappealing. My cheekbones are also asymmetrical. My right one is much more pronounced than my left, I also feel like the bottom half of my face is simply too "long". I was wondering what surgeries I would need to undergo achieve a more oval, less harsh, and just more appealing face.

Answer: Re: Non-Surgical Options for Chin and Shape of Face The changes that you described many details that need to be identified to get your cheeks and chin to the point where the look of your face feels just right. The changes should avoid extremes that could cause you to look like someone elseInstead of rushing into surgery, you may want to try out fillers for non-surgical facial contouring. For example, Radiesse can be used for your cheeks and chin area. It is made of calcium based particles which forms a structural scaffold that can be shaped once it is injected. The results are not permanent and can be changed. See what ends up looking just right and keep photos of these which can help if or when you are ready for surgery

Answer: Options to refine facial shape There are too many options to review online. Further, an in-person examination is required to give you accurate, specific advice. However, generally speaking a chin implant could improve your profile and front view as well as the balance of your lower face. Facial shaping can involve either filler injections in the cheeks or cheek implants. I've found that filler is typically better for asymmetry as it can be extensively customized whereas there are a limited number of sizes and shapes of permanent implants available. In many cases, we will also use Botox to shape the lower face in people who have prominent masseter muscles. Seek a consultation for the most accurate and specific advice. Good luck!Stephen Weber MD, FACS

Answer: Facial contouring based on your photographs and your comments it is a little difficult to say exactly what could be done to provide you with an appearance U finds more peeling.Chin implants can provide better definition of the chin and jawline as well as a shape that you find more attractive. A chin implant will not make her face shorter but it can make it more oval.Reduction in cheek bones or chin volume can be done with the technique using a drill to gently shave away thin portions of bone. Generally these are larger procedures that required general anesthesia. The simplest and safest thing for you to do would be to try contouring her face with filler. This has many advantages including being less expensive, less risky, and temporary. The temporary part is particularly important for you because you are so young and your face will change its shape and volume some as you age over the next few years.Best of luckChase Lay, MDDouble board-certified facial plastic surgeon
