I have 2 front porcelain crowns for 3 years prior to braces. After having braces for 2 to 3 months, I noticed my left front crown was pulled down a bit compared to my right crown. This then caused a small gap on top of my left crown where I can see the tooth root. Would my crown eventually move back up to my gum line when I am done with braces treatment? Or will I have to redo a new crown again after braces?

Answer: Will my dental crown move after orthodontics?
I would recommend you schedule a follow up appointment with your dentist to asses the cementation and your ability to clean around the implant. Residual cement not cleaned from the margins of the crown can lead to implant failure.
As your
periodontist has checked it and if you have no pain or irritation then you have nothing to worry about. A periodontist specializes in gums and is the best person to
assess gums. So as you have assurance from a
gum specialist, I would not be too concerned.
