Muscle Weakness After Subcision?

I had subcision yesterday. After the surgery, my left side of my face was numb while my right side was normal. Everything eventually went back to normal after several hours except my left eyebrow. I have very limited mobility. My doctor thinks this is because he may have injected the anesthetic directly into the nerve or may have damaged it. He says that since I still have some movement, I should expect full range of motion. Thoughts?

Dear patient; I have performed Subcision and fat grating and fillers for many years. Bruising is not needed to achieve great results. You may safely take Arnica and Bromelain before and after your procedure. As a courtesy I hope that you will discuss this further with your surgeon.

Subcision followed by a filler is normally done at the same time when treating acne scars. There is no advantage, of which I'm aware, of doing them at different times.
