Subcision + Temples Q&A

What is the recovery/downtime for subcision of the forehead and temples for acne scarring thanks

Do I need to wait for my hyaluronic acid filler to fade away before I can get acne scar subcision of my temples? Or am I ok to get it done even with some filler in that area already? Thanks.

As the above states,I wanted rolling scars subcision and filler to keep from re attachment. Certain scars were subsized (no filler) Others were just filled because It doesn't look like they're tethered and skin is thin All my scars looked the same (rolling deep) Temples near veins I understand. But similar scars in same area (cheeks) Subcision alone & filler alone right next to each other? Aren't all deep rolling scars tethered? Why just filler? temporary fix is fine for wrinkles, not scars.

I have some rolling scars on both my temples and it seems that the most effective produce, subcision, would actually be dangerous to do in that position due the nerves there. Do I have any alternative for my scars or is subcision possible to have here?

Hi, Here is my basic info: Gender: Male Age: 25 Skin Type: III (East Asian) I have some really deep boxcar scars on my temple area, and I have tried several sessions of CO2 Laser/RF microneedling/Non-ablative lasers, but I didn't really see any improvement. As you can see in the picture, the scars are depressed, I live around Seattle area, and I have a hard time finding an acne scar specialist who is able to perform subcision on my temple.. Will subcision/TCA help in this case? Thanks

I got freshly made scars over my temple in Apr and I am still receiving accutane. Is it boxcars scar, and would subcision be help to this kind of scar as they located at my temple.

I have mild to severe atrophic scarring around my cheek and temples. I have done 2 micro-needling sessions and 2 ablative lasers (CO2, Er:YAG) with slight improvement.

In the past I did few times of ablative CO2 laser but my scar does not really improve. My scars are mainly in cheek + temple area. Thank you.

I have had 3 mini subcisions done over few years, 3TCA cross, 3RF microneedling and PRP, and lastly fully ablative CO2 for my scar revision. It's been 2 years since my laser treatment and I know there is till some room for improvement. Would I benefit from another subcision or laser again? My derm said it'd be difficult on my temples, why is that? I thought of fat grafting, but can't find anyone in the UK that specialises in scar revision fat grafting.
