Is thread lift a good idea for slimming the face? Can it age you prematurely?

I want to ask if a thread lift is a good idea for slimming the face and dealing with chubby cheeks.I'm 22 years old and I have a very chubby face but I don't want to have facial liposuction because I heard it can cause premature aging. I also want to know what the risks are. Can a thread lift cause premature aging if you start with it at a young age? After the threads are dissolved will skin look looser than it was before the procedure? Is it safe to have the procedure again and again for years?

Thank you for sharing your question. It is very unlikely that threading is the correct treatment for you. Being young with chubby cheeks would make you the least likely candidate for thread lifting. It is hard to answer this question without seeing your facial structure in person as where and how full the fullness is determines appropriate treatment for optimal outcomes.  Threads are great for lifting and contour for minimal laxity but do not help to "debulk" the face so they may not be the most appropriate treatment.  I would suggest consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who can determine treatment plan which will lead to more lasting and natural results.  kh
