It is not uncommon for the shafts of the transplanted grafts to shed and fall out in the first few weeks following a transplant. Answer: Lost Grafts At five days post-op, grafts are not yet fully secured and can potentially be dislodged by pulling or other forms of excessive contact with the area. Normally bleeding will result from a lost graft. If you noticed no bleeding then chances are that you're fine.

Answer: Dislodged grafts dislodged grafts will bleed and that is how you know that you disturbed them. At one week I would not expect more of these to happen
