How much growth should one expect 9 months after FUE in the crown area?

9 months post op will give you almost 90% growth. Your full result will be present at the end of the first year.

There can be positive changes between 9 months and one year, especially in the crown. However, these changes will be subtle compared to the first 9 months.

Usually around 75-80 % of growth occurs around 9 months post surgery. And it may become better in the next three months. However, if the growth is slow, it may take around 15-18 months also for the full results to come.

It is not uncommon for the hair regrowth in the crown after a hair transplant to be slower than the frontal areas of the scalp. Often when compared the difference can be around three months delay in terms of either hair growth or maturity. Any area of the scalp with scalp hair used can take 12 to 18 months to fully grow and mature anyway. At 9 months it is unlikely you are experiencing the final result from your hair transplant, under normal situations. 

It is a well known fact that it takes 12-15 months for the full growth to become apparent.At 9 months one can expect to see about 80 percent growth.The majority of transplanted hair  fall & start  regrowing at 3-4 months and you can expect them to grow to a length of 2 inches at 9 months.It would be helpful to apply minoxidil,if your surgeon has recommended.

At nine months post op you should be seeing 90-95% growth. You should expect full growth 1 year after your procedure.

At 9 months, I would expect 95% of the growth to have occurred. If the growth is not there, see your surgeon and ask about why this is the case
