Ear hair can be treated with laser hair removal. As with all other areas, it requires multiple treatments and blonde and gray hair can't be treated.

If the hair is dark, I would suggest Laser Hair Removal  It may take several treatments but it would be a permanent solution.  If the hair is a light color, like blonde or even red, you may want to consider electrolysis.  I hope this helps, Dr. DiPasquale

Laser hair removal can safely be performed on the ear. The doctor would use a smaller hand piece.  It works very well.

It is possible to achieve permanent hair reduction in this area by laser hair removal.  Another option would be electrolysis. Make sure that you consult with and experienced provider.

Hello and thank you for your question.  Ear hair can be treated with laser hair removal as long as the hair is not blonde or white/gray.  A series of treatments will be required and each treatment is typically spaced 6-8 weeks apart.  Best of luck to you.
