I recently began a series of skin tightening treatments with the Gentle YAG. How effective is this to tighten my neck area?

How effective do you think this is to tighten my neck area, I have minor laxity? Also how long should I wait between appts. They said 1 mo. But I had no downtime at all . Why do I have to wait that long.

Radiofrequency, whether external (like Exilis, or ThermiSmooth), or internal (Thermi-Tight), or ultrasound (Ultherapy) are more effective than Gentle Yag for skin tightening.

The Gentle Yag is an exceptional laser for hair removal in patients with darker skin but is certainly not recommended for skin tightening.  There are other lasers such as the Sciton BBL and Thermage lasers which are made for skin tightening.  Please consult an expert in non-surgical skin tightening for the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green
