How soon after rhinoplasty can I get a non-surgical nose job? 1.5 weeks post op.

Hello, One year is generally when you can see the finished nose without swelling. I suggest waiting to see the finished product of the nose before searching for a revision or a non surgical procedure. Dear rhinoplasty person,  Before and after,  front and side view pictures would have been very helpful. Without pictures or direct examination of your nose, I can't help you specifically. However, like any surgery, there is an  initial excessive swelling , that can last a month or longer.     In nose surgery, since every millimeter can have a significant impact on the facial balance, even after the initial swelling subsides, there is , at times, residual fullness,  due to the scarring process under the skin that can last 6-12 months.    Therefore, my recommendation to post rhinoplasty patients is to wait at least 6 months (preferably 1 year)  before any revision surgery can be contemplated. Injection with steroids can be helpful after 1 month, to reduce the scarring process. Injection with fillers like Restylane can help to smooth temporary asymmetric  indentation.   As far as your comment on piggy nose, if any maneuver was performed at the base of the columella, the temporary swelling at the lip-nose junction,  can create an excessive upturn of the nose (piggy look) , but that will disappear within 4-6 weeks, so be patient. Taping of the area with clear tape can help with the shape of the nose.    As long as your surgeon is experienced board certified plastic surgeon, stick with him and follow his recommendation. I'm sure your surgeon had told you that your nose will take some time to settle down after surgery.  Swelling always makes the tip look large and upturned.  I sometimes joke that patients should not look at their nose for 1 month after surgery.  Give it some time.  Seriously.
