Why do plastic surgeons in South America seem to have such beautiful results compared to so many plastic surgeons in the USA?

I've noticed a distinct difference in the results of the physicians in the USA compared to Dr. Duran in the DR and the doctors in Cali Columbia. The SA docs do lipo which accentuates the feminine curves of women and out a lot of care and concern about scar placement for 1/3 of the cost. Why???

Great results are accomplished with a practitioner who has skills, expertise and good technique. I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned and/or curvy result, depending on your desired results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Yours is an excellent question, but a thorough answer penetrates far beyond the domain of aesthetic surgery into major differences of government, law, private sector business, society, and culture.  Suffice it to say that a classic line from Gilbert and Sullivan applies: "Things are seldom what they seem.  Skim milk masquerades as cream..."

The techniques are similar but not equal between surgeons around the word.
We south american surgeons (particularly Colombian) have our variations. Some people like you, can found more more satisfactory results, but there is other people thinking diferent. That is great: because persons can choose!.
About the cost this is because operation room or clinic, medicines and medical supplies have diferent cost (less expensive) here than North America and Western Europe.
