Is it safe to get a non-surgical nose job?

Many people present to our practice with large nasal humps, and droopy nasal tips, requesting permanent nonsurgical nose job treatments. Many people simply require rhinoplasty surgery to achieve a smaller and less distracting nasal appearance. If you like the size of your nose, but having a symmetry, indentation, or other irregularity that might be amenable to fillers, surgery could be considered in the future, after fillers. Like all other filler injections, there is always some risks associate with nonsurgical nose job with fillers, but the risk is generally very low at skillful hands and as long as you work with highly experienced cosmetic doctors, you should be ok. Hi and thanks for your question. Non Surgical Rhinoplasty is far and away safer than surgery. After having done over 3000 of these procedures, I can tell you that with absolute confidence. There is no risk of bleeding, infection, anesthesia side effects and all of the other risks that go with undergoing a several hour surgery under general anesthesia. Additionally, there is no swelling, black eyes or pain after the non surgical procedure. The entire thing takes 5 minutes and, if it is done correctly, you barely feel it. Most people go right back to work or school following the procedure and no one knows that they have had something done. The risks of the injection procedure include rare instances of skin damage, but the chances of this happening in someone who has not had rhinoplasty surgery are one in a million. As long as you wait long enough for the fillers to dissolve or you dissolve the fillers with enzyme, it is perfectly safe to have surgery after filler. Hope that helps.

There are 3 ways to answer this: 1. Any procedure has its own risk. 2. You can compare non surgical nose job with a surgical nose job from the safety stand point, which the non surgical nose job wins. 3. You could compare non surgical nose job filler with fillers injected in other areas of the face, in that case non surgical nose job is more riskier than most and that is mainly why you heard the stories of this not being safe enough. My suggestion to you is to find a really great  cosmetic physician who has done many non surgical nose jobs in your area and there you can evaluate your specific risks. It is very important to know that in good hands safety is significantly higher than with someone who is inexperienced.
