If you do not trust your doctor after surgery, then it is a shame you had surgery with the doctor.  You can probably have someone count every single grafts if you believe you were cheated.

for sure.  Sometimes several grafts are placed in one site especially if the grafts are thin and small and density is desired.  Also, not all grafts survive and grow.   If you went to a reputable hair clinic you should be ok but it is still a good idea to maintain regular follow ups.
