i got my dreads tightened and they said i could be stressed given that I've started a new job recently and don't have balding in my family, but when i get my dreads tightened some times they pull on my hair and i don't know if that could be causing it too.

Hair has a natural life cycle and its resting phase lasts around 3 months. This is the earliest that improvement can be seen however most don't appreciate a difference until 6 months. Maximum improvement won't be seen for at least a year.
