My nipples are at the right place (perfect height), but my breasts only has a bit of skin 1.5 inches max from my sternum to my nipple. is there any way the surgeon could stretch that skin to create a bigger under boob so my nipple is more central and there is a nice droop/curve or what would the procedure for that be? i like my cup size so I would just like to detach the skin under and put some fat transfert.. Is that possible??
Answer: Unexisting underboob Dear Optimistic493474, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Underboob fat transfer It is not uncommon for the breast to be underdeveloped in the inferior aspect. The most common form of treatment is an implant. On occasion, tissue expansion may be required. Because the skin/ tissue which will now be part of the lower breast was recruited from the the upper abdomen, it often is quite thin compared to surrounding tissue. Fat grafting can be used to thicken this. It will potentially improve the original fold at the bottom of the breast to make it less visible on the newly augmented breast. Fat alone may improve the lower pole. A few things would be required such as a fold that is not overly creased, some laxity to the skin to place fat and some fat to harvest; amongst other things. This is fairly nuanced. The best option would be to see someone that does a lot of fat grafting to get their opinion. It is also possible that more than one session of fat transfer may be needed to get the best result. Dr. Rodger Shortt, Oakville, Ontario, plastic surgeon.

Answer: Fat Yes, fat could be added if you have donor fat. Fat is placed into actual breast tissue. If you have little breast tissue now, you may need more than one transfer. I would suggest meeting with a board-certified plastic surgeon and discussing your concerns and options.

Answer: Inventing your own operations It’s difficult to make an assessment based on your description. I suggest having a few in person, consultations with plastic surgeons in your community to get a better understanding of what can, or cannot be accomplished with various plastic surgical procedures. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
