Not sure how I worded my question, but I did a chemical peel and it was 30% instead of 15%. Salycilic acid peel. I tested what I thought was a small amount, but it did major damage.

Answer: Dermatologic care Your best next step is to schedule a visit with a dermatologist for evaluation and urgent care. Generally, newly peeled skin must be delicately and regularly cleansed and kept moist with a gentle emollient such as Vaseline or Aquaphor. You must avoid picking and touching the newly peeled skin, no matter how tempting it is to peel off the old skin or satisfy an itch. Given your darker skin color, you are at higher risk for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, or darkening of the skin; seek out a dermatologist's expertise in both immediate and long-term care. Good luck, and please avoid home peels in the future.

Answer: Problem with a home peel I reviewed your question and must say what I think about people doing home peels. Your skin is dark and you should consult with a dermatologist now and before you do any home peels. The darker the skin the greater chance of getting post imflammatory hyperpigmentation. A dermatologist canlook at your skin and prescribe a bleaching preparation and tell you what else you can do to care for your skin
