I am 74 and have AFib. Healthy otherwise. Can I have breast implants?

Neither your age, or the fact that you have atrial fibrillation would necessarily prevent you from having breast augmentation. What is more important than age, is overall health and ability to safely undergo anesthesia. If you are taking blood thinners such as coumadin or Pradaxa, you would need to stop them for a period of time before and after the surgery to avoid excessive bleeding. Have your primary physician  throughly evaluate you to determine your suitability for both surgery and anesthesia.

Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs or told us your bra size.  You will more likely need a breast lift than augmentation.  The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method.  This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage.  Vertical scars are avoided and nipple sensation is maintained.  At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.  Implants are not lifetime devices and half are removed by 9.5 years.  Fat transfers are permanent and incorporated into the body.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
