Is it safe to go ahead with laser hair removal over a scar from a burn?

I had a deep burn from a boiling water accident last year. It's all healed now but it's left a scar on my inner thigh. The scar is getting better with time, but I'm afraid that laser will make it permanent or have other negative affects.

You could try prp and progesterone injections to encourage hair growth to the area. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hair loss expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I suggest seeing an expert for treatment options.  This area is easily treated with laser hair removal and will require a series of treatments, but will give you better results after each session. Diode lasers are typically the best treatment for laser hair removal. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
