I am a 21 year old male, 511, 160 lbs, fitzpatrick type III. In 2020 + 2021 I had laser hair removal on the buttocks + anal region by a dermatologist. I began to burn after several treatments. I informed my doctor and at my next treatment I got a blister. I then stopped altogether and have been dealing with bleeding and pain in the area ever since. I exercise, eat plenty of fiber, and stay hydrated, but frequently experience discomfort + occasional bleeding while using the bathroom.
help! I Received an IPL laser hair removal treatment in September. I was burned badly and am left with these lightened marks on my skin from the device. Is this something that will resolve or am I scarred for life?

I had a treatment for laser hair removal a yesterday and am very worried i may be permanently scared or discoloured. I guess the Alexandrite laser was set at too high! I have attached a picture and would love to get some advice on how bad the damage is and what i can do to get back to normal if possible. Unfortunately it seems anyone with or without training can perform the treatment. I wish i knew this before and hope I am not damaged for life.
I am hoping these burns will not cause scarring. The burns were quite extensive behind the back of my thighs. It has now been two weeks. I have been applying biafine up to three times daily. Please tell me this will help and will not cause scarring
I had my laser hair removal session less than 24 hrs back, noticed warm feeling after that and then redness which turned brown now. These marks are all over my bik line. Its not painful but but feels uncomfortable. I have had sessions before as well but never experience this. I am applying mebo ointment. Can you please help me with it, would these marks go? How long it will take to go? Any other ointment i can apply? I am not going for another sessions at that place for sure.
My three previous laser hair removal treatments went fine, but I had my fourth one done while in Europe and I think I got burns. I had this done on Tuesday evening and there was some pain and swelling after, and now on Thursday there are burn marks. Will these heal on their own? Are there specific precautions I can take to try and prevent permanent scars? Lasered stomach and armpits without a problem. Its been 48 hours but Im worried the area will stay like this.
I had last hair removal done in November and was burned by the tech. I now have what seems to be hyperpigmentation marks from the marks left by the laser burns. Im currently using obagi 4% prescribed by my dermatologist. Are these marks permanent or is there another lightening process to get my legs back to normal?
I received my second laser hair removal treatment to my back and shoulders over 48 hours ago and my skin has reacted completely different to my first treatment. Within 4-6 hours of the second treatment, my back was covered in these red itchy spots. Now (48 hrs post treatment) some redness has decreased and the area still remains quite itchy. Some spots have white heads, almost like pimples which can be popped. After my first treatment my skin never even got red
Had a laser hair treatment on my Brazilian area. I have a large black tattoo around my thigh. On the way home, a portion of the tattoo felt hot. I called the service provider who advised me to ice the area. I did and the next day it blistered. The blister popped and now the area is much darker. It feels itchy and sore. I'm not sure what to do. the provider has admitted the laser must have touched the tattoo but seems surprised. Should the tattoo have been covered? Will i have permanent damage?
