Can I tan while using Minoxidil?

Hello im using minoxidil 5% and I desperately wanna tan, can i wash off my head and go to the beach then apply minoxidil or would this still make side effects ?

If you want to go tanning and want to use minoxidil jus follow the instructions on the label.  Apply minoxidil on the scalp.

There is no study that shows there is harm done with using minoxidil and tanning. There is some possibility of scalp itching with minoxidil. Dry skin caused by tanning may exacerbate the dryness and thereby cause itching of the scalp.
