Scalp is sore to the touch after nizoral and minoxidil. Any suggestions?

I have started using nizoral shampoo and started using minoxidil, scalp has now however become more aggravated and is now sore to the touch. I was diagnosed with genetic hairloss, and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Will this "aggravated scalp' lead to permanent damage to hair follicles. There is no blood or scabbing of any sort just a sore scalp, very little swelling type bumps (2-3) and skin cells/ dandruff.

Topical finasteride may be safe but it would not work for treating androgenic alopecia. Your haven't found results on the Internet because it doesn't work.

If you do not like your thick beard and believe it was due to minoxidil you should see a doctor for an exam.  This is not normal

Topical minoxidil usually comes in 5% strength.  Higher percentages would mean there is more minoxidil concentration.  Higher percentages do not mean it will work better.
