I was born with a normal, smooth chin. About ten years ago, I had a MRSA infection that needed to be cut out of my skin. This left me with a very obvious, deep scar on my chin. It is so deep, it gives me the look of having a "butt chin" or cleft chin. I am having difficulty in knowing where to begin on my search of finding a procedure and a surgeon who can help. Someone who specializes in facial surgery? Someone who specializes in scar revision? I haven't seen this type of scar anywhere else.
