How soon can I expect to see real results from my Dysport treatment for crows feet?

Typically, patients will start seeing results after just two to three days, with maximum effects by about day 7-10, but some patients may take longer to see the effects. While Dysport normally can start working as soon as 2-3 days post treatment, it can take up to 14 days for it to take full effect. If after 14 days, you still do not see any change, then definitely contact your injector to add more units.

We normally start with 30 units of Dysport for Crow's Feet, then re-examine the patient at two weeks. Many times we will add a few more units at this time.

There is a bit of variety between patients in terms of when Dysport takes effect. Typically by 7-10 days, the full effects of the treatment can be seen.

I typically use 30-45 units of Dysport in each crows feet region depending on the severity of the exam.  With this dosing, patients tend to see the beginning stages of the effect as soon as the next day and then the complete result taking effect within about 10-14 days.  If at two weeks you don't see anything, then I would add more as you may be under treated for the amount of movement that you have.

You should be seeing results in 3-4 days. Some Dysport users see results as quickly as 1-2 days post treatment. I think you were probably under treated unless you have a minimal amount of periorbital lines. THe typical dosing in the area is about 45-50 units, not 20. If you're not seeing improvement by 7 days return to your injector to discuss. You likely will need additional Dysport to achieve the improvement you're seeking.

20 units of Dysport is a good starting dose for treatment of crows feet. You should start seeing results after one week with the maximum effect at two weeks. Your doctor may ask you to come back for a review at two weeks as this is the perfect time to assess if you treatment resulted in the desired effect or if you need additional units of Dysport at this stage.

While some people may start to see results earlier, results may begin to appear after 5-7 days in some patients. Be patient, and if you are still not seeing results after 10 days, visit your injector again for reevaluation.
