I got a Breast Reduction (2nd) late last year and I was really happy with the results but noticed that one was a little larger than the other. I wasn’t worried though because slight breast asymmetry is common. My doctor called a few months later with my pathology results and there was a PASH in one boob and Ductal Hyperplasia in the other which is abnormal because I’m only 19. Now the boobs are very noticably different and I’m concerned, does the pathology have to do with it? I am 5’ 7” and 120

We always aim to preserve the milk ducks during the surgery. However, in some cases, it can be partially or completely affected by breast surgeries such as breast reduction and uplift. Best way to find out is to contact your surgeon
If you are over ideal weight for your height, the amount of breast tissue that must be removed increases. Insurance companies do not care if you have more muscle or fat. It is based on weight.
