I have had a very noticeable venous pool on my lower right lip for years, and it is getting more noticeable as I age. I'd like to have it 'disappear' and am wondering if there is a solution. It is very dark and purple and has really distorted my lower lip.

If its not causing you a problem I would leave it alone. The only way to remove injectable silicone is to surgically excise it and this may result in a lip deformity.
Many patients take pain medication for only one day after the procedure and some do not even need that. Patients that take pain medication typically stick to Tylenol or Advil.
