I underwent rhinoplasty years ago. I have been experiencing a tingling/tight sensation in the tip and columella. It feels sore, but does not hurt when touched. It is uncomfortable to smile. Could this be related to the aging of my nose or something completely different? I have considered a revision rhinoplasty, but I am terrified of the risks (undesirable outcome/recovery). Your input is greatly appreciated.

I have found that small elevations of the nasal can be done simply in the office with internal stitches only and no need for a nasal splint. Oral sedatives help. In your situation that may be a good solution as it seems that you are otherwise happy with the nose.
A secondary rhinoplasty is complex and your nose is not an easy one.
