Answer: Traction Alopecia Wearing anything tight on the head that pulls on the hair over prolonged periods of time can cause hair loss which might be permanent. This is well recognised in Sikh men who wear tight turbans. However there are many other causes of alopecia that should be ruled out by a doctor who specialises in hair loss. If it is traction alopecia then it is suitable for a hair transplant but the habit of whatever caused the hair loss should not be continued after the procedure.

Answer: Female Hairline It can be common to have this type of hairline recession. I generally recommend cellular therapy as a first step to help increase density and slow down the progression. This can be accomplished with high density PRP injections with growth factors. Most of the time this is all that is required. If it is not successful hair transplant would be recommended.

Answer: Hair loss What you are seeing is the changes that occur in some women. My blonde wife, for example, had the same changes and we both lowered the hairline and reshaped it by rounding it transplanting the corners so that the hairline took on a very femenine look. Only a hair transplant can accomplish this, see examples of this type of surgery below
