Hello and thank you for your question. Having more redness than right after your procedure and developing pus filled spots all over the face sound like signs of infection. This is not usual, but can happen because Halo is a resurfacing treatment that creates openings on the skin which can lead to a secondary infection. Please go to your provider as soon as possible so that they can evaluate you and start you on proper medications. Hope this helps, Dr. S.
White spots on the face are not part of the normal process after Halo. They can be a sign of a superficial infection. Hello, thank you for reaching out to get some guidance after you recent treatment. It is normal to ave increased redness the first few days after HALO, however developing pus-filled pockets may be signs of a skin infection. It is important that you be evaluated by your provider to determine if you require antibiotics. This should be started as soon as possible in oder to minimize the infection and get you on the road to healing. Continue to follow all post-procedure instructions very closely and keep your skin hydrated and protected from sunlight. You will heel just fine.Hope this helps you.Shyrlena~
