How to remove darkening after laser hair removal on Asian skin? (Photo)

My 3rd laser hair removal session was extra painful and was itchy and burning for several days afterwards, which hadn't ever happened before. My skin in that area (Brazilian) is now much darker. What is it (is it PIH?) and how do I restore the color back to its original state?

Thanks for your question. My first thought is how often did you come in for treatment? Secondly, were settings increased with each treatment,were you treated at a therapeutic setting? I would reach out to the clinic and ask those questions. Also know that it is average to have between 6-8...
