Hi I had a bbl 13 days ago and on only one of my stitches , it's very hard and swollen ( next to my genital area ) what is this ? Should I be worried ?please help Thanks
Answer: Stitches swollen and hard? Good afternoon. Thanks for your question. You're still early on healing process and final results, wait to see changes in your body, to feel discomfort on your stitches is completely normal at the beginning, don't be scared, everything will be fine. If you notice something else or weird with your healing, go to your surgeon for a check up. Remember to keep your stitches and incisions clean 100% and covered for the first month.

Answer: Post op BBL Hi and thanks for the question. Areas where stitches are placed can be more swollen and hard than others. As long as there is no pain, redness, discharge or significant swelling you probably don't have reason for concern. However, if you have any questions or concerns you should address this with you ps immediately. Best of Luck - Dr. Hardy...

Answer: Swollen stitch Thank you for your question. It is possible that this is a stitch abscess, which would need to be drained by your surgeon. You should make your surgeon aware just in case something needs to be done. Best of luck!
