They will sit on a roll that is placed underneath their thighs so that the buttocks is not touching the surface of the chair. This is also very good for your back. Answer: Will sitting after 12 days post op for BBL ruin my results? Thank you for your question. Every surgeon will have his/her own preferences as to recovery for specific procedures. Most surgeons recommend to avoid sitting for two weeks after your surgery. At 12 days post surgery i would say you're safe to sit as the pressure caused by sitting at this point is not sufficient to affect viability of the fat cells.

Answer: Sitting 12 days BBL post-op I recommend that my patients minimize sitting, even with a pillow, for the first two weeks. If they must sit, every 30 minutes or an hour, they should get up and stand for a few seconds to take the pressure off. This reduces the chance for fat necrosis. I usually recommend about 6 weeks before sitting without a pillow. After 6 weeks the fat has revascularized, and they will have a very good idea of their final results.
