I want to get a lot done at once my doc said it's too much in 1 procedure but he can do it in 2 in 1 week he said he can do bbl and breast aug 1 day and then 3 days later nose job and lip implants. I want to know wI'll my levels be up enough in 3 days to have surgery safely?
Answer: Is it safe to have 2 surgeries in 1 weeks? I would encourage you to really think this out. What are your priorities? Is it your butt? brasts? nose? When performing a BBL I will not do any procedure that causes the patinet to be face up whereby pressure will be placed on the recently transferred fat cells ecreasing their survival. I am not in the camp that advocate doing several procedures at the same time or within a short interval between them when perfoming a BBL. Think about it, When fat is transferred to the buttocks, the fat cells need all of the oxygen possible in order to survive. Fat transfers (BBL) require a rich oxygen environment in order to attempt the highest rate of survival of the fat cells. Fat is not just transferred to the buttock region. In order to obtain that shapely pear shape behind you must transfer fat to the area of the hip laterally to make for more attractive curves. If you lie on your side it will place undue pressure on the transferred fat cells and perhaps flatten out the area. We recommend that our patients do not place any significant pressure on their butts for 4-6 weeks following the BBL.If you have a Breast Augmentation and BBL done at the same time and subsequently a nose job, how are you going to avoid lying on your back, face up when the breastand nose prevent you from lying face down? I recommend that the BBL be done first. Removing all of the unwanted fat through lipo and then transferring to the butt. You can come back 2-4 months later, after the fat cells have developed their independent blood supply, and have the breast and nose done together. We all have our own formulas for success. THis is my protocol. When performing a BBL, the key is............ does the surgeon have a keen sense of aesthetics? Can he/she create a shapely, attractive buttock or are they just technicians that wind up with large unshapely behinds? The same holds true for the liposuction portion of the procedure. Understand that liposuction whether SAL, PAL or UAL ( not including LAL because the fat obtained through this technique will not be useful) is not that technically challenging. However, the keen aesthetic eye will determine the eventual work of art.We are creators and have the ability to turn out beautiful works of art. Simply put................not all artists create quality work.Good luck, Dr. PG

Answer: How long can you wait between two surgeries Agree with Dr. Blinski...it's very unusual to be offered 2 days of surgeries within one week. Typically, it takes 48 hours for the general anesthesia to be completely eliminated from your body. And, you'd want to actually be healed from the first surgery before going back for the second set of surgeries. Extreme makeover type of surgeries can be dangerous so that is why most surgeons will not do too many procedures at once. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who can offer you the procedures you want in the safest way possible. Good luck!

Answer: Is it safe to have 2 surgeries in 1 weeks? Hard to say if only 1 or 2 separate ops are needed. BUT 2 in 1 week is very very unusual and I would NEVER offer that option. I would have a healing time of at least 3 weeks between them. But there is a possibility of all in one stage but only if the timing is not over 4 hours..
