Thanks for your question and congratulations on your recent procedure! You want to make sure to give your body some time to fully heal prior to re-piercing, about 6-8 weeks. Good luck and congratulations again!
bad idea, you can and will introduce bacteria to the area, now that you have implants, you run the risk of getting your implants infected, having to have them removed, really not worth the risk unless you are ok with losing your implants(having them taken out) and giving up all the money you spent on your BA just to have nipple rings
Hi ~ You should wait 6-8 weeks after your surgery to re-pierce your nipples. This will allow your body to be well healed prior to this. You do not want to increase your risk for infection while healing from breast implant surgery. Thank you.
If they have closed already then the safest thing to do is wait 6 weeks. Always better to be safe.
I suggest waiting 6 weeks. It is important to make sure that this is done and sterile as possible to minimize introducing bacteria that can lead to infection of the implant. Best wishes,Dr. Ravi Somayazula
I'm surprised that your surgeon did not put a plastic or suture that's nonmetal into the whole and the nipple such that the piercing could be replaced the very next day. Now that a new piercing needs to be done, I would recommend that you wait at least six weeks until a well-established capsule has formed around the implant. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question and provided photos. You appear to have a very good result for one month post breast augmentation. It would be helpful to have a pre-op photo for comparison. With that being said, your implants will take some time to settle. In the process,...
As you are very early on in the healing process, it is likely that your breasts will change over the coming months. Although breast implants do “settle,” keep in mind the distance between the breasts seen pre-operatively will not change following breast augmentation. My advice to you is to hav...
Try not to get too concerned about the appearance of your breasts just yet – there’s still a lot of healing to do and some asymmetry is normal at this stage. Once you're at about 6 months post-surgery, you can get in touch with your plastic surgeon about a revision if you still see sig...
Whatever happened with your belly button does not predict a problem with your breast implants. Just be sure you do not have an active infection in your belly button or anywhere else at the time you have your breast surgery. You should also be sure that your surgeon follows best practices g...
As your body shape, existing breasts, the type of implants, implant placement and more can affect how breast implants look, it’s impossible to tell exactly what size implants someone has just from looking at a photo. What’s more, there’s no guarantee the same size breast implants would look ...
It is very difficult to determine the best size you will need (recommended based on your photos) or the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal breast image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, ...
