Hello and thank you for your question! I would recommend a consultation with a board certified provider that can discuss your desired outcome and the different options they have to offer. Kybella is a great resource for submental fat. At our office we would typically consider coolscultping versus kybella and treat this area first. The removal of the submental fat may also cause some definition of your jawline to enhance slightly once the submental fat is addressed, especially with the coolscultping since the applicators can be placed more strategically. After the edema has subsided, you would then return for the other treatment regarding your jowls. This area may also be addressed with euro threads as well as filler or ultherapy. Your options are many, therefore a consultation with a board certified provider will best help would reach your desired outcome. I hope this information helps and best of luck to you!
Kybella is approved to reduce fat in the submental area, which is below the chin. Normally, fillers to improve the jowls would be placed in a different, but nearby area. I would not see any problem having both injections done at the same time, but not all physicians may feel the same.
The simple answer is yes- you are able to do kybella and fillers during the same treatment. It is best to consult with a Board Certified Dermatologist or Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specialize in injectables. I often inject both Kybella and HA fillers during the same treatment. Often you have to provide your patient with a complete and comprehensive treatment plan. It is not always just one product needed to do the job.
Kybella can melt the submental fat and cause some tightening. Usually I prefer to see the effect of the kybella first as it may change how much filler will be needed in the jowls. So to answer your question, I recommend to do them weeks apart.
Since you are talking about treating two different areas, no, there should not be a problem getting both Kybella and filler to the jowls at the same time. Make sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist with a lot of filler experience.
Thank you for your question. Kybella is an injectable product that can be used to help your body to rid itself of fat cells that form under the chin. Jowl fillers are typically done in a different area. I don’t see a problem in having both done at the same time. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
This is a really good question. I would have the kybella ( Belkyra) treatment first . This will also help define the chin and starts the process of defining the jaw line. You may find then that you don't need as much filler to help pull back the jowls.Another concern is if you inject the double chin and the jaw line filler on the same day ,the inflammation caused by the Kybella ( Belkyra) could easily lead to hardening of the filler. In Australia we don't inject a face with filler if there is any active facial inflammation as we have seen hardening of the filler. This may be a coincidence but we are taking precautions to prevent any problems with the filler. I hope this answers your question
Kybella is FDA indicated for the submental area. Although, it is not indicated for the jowls some doctors treat this area with Kybella successfully but the jowls can be a danger zone as the marginal mandibular nerve courses superficially in this area.
Sorry but to me your question makes no sense? Jowls need lifting not filling. But since you did not post any self pics very hard to advise..Please post pics to we can offer you some guidance..>>>>>>>
This is really a great question. As we continue to use Kybella, we are learning that it not only causes destruction of the fat cells, but skin tightening through the inflammatory process which occurs. Those compounds you mentioned do not affect blood supply, but rather reduce the inflammatory...
The important thing to remember with injectables is that it is a medical procedure so it requires skill and training, but it is also requires an artistic eye. You want to see someone with a lot of experience. Personally, I recommend a board certified plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist.
Sun exposure won't adversely affect your Kybella. My guess is that maybe you did more "exercise" than normal and that is what is causing the swelling. It will resolve with time. However, if you spend time in the sun, make sure to wear a good UVA/UVB sunscreen with a least an SPF of 30 to ...
