I had a BBL done 5 weeks ago. How long do I have to wait to do Cellfina?

I'm not sure why BBL was done in an area of cellulite. Broad-band light therapy is usually done for photodamage. There can be complications with pigmentation and rarely blistering with BBL. If you have Cellfina in the same area done soon after the BBL, and there is a complication from the BBL neither you nor your physician would know which caused the problem.Store-bought compression garments such as Spanx works well for a few days to a couple of weeks depending on the individual's treatment with Cellulite. I ask my patients not to fly for a few days so I can see them after Cellulite if there is a concern that develops.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE CELLFINA™ TREATMENT

Patients are able to resume their day after leaving our office, but we do recommend taking it easy for up to 24 hours. Some people experience soreness, tenderness, and bruising in the area treated. Over the counter pain medication can be taken to relieve symptoms. Yes you can fly and resume most activities.  There is mild bruising. Arnica gel can help.  We use additional energy sources  Cellfina Platinum to get the best result with least swelling

Cellfina is an FDA approved minimally invasive procedure that reduces the appearance of cellulite for at least two years on the buttocks and back of the thighs of women.It works by releasing the internal bands that cause the cellulite dimpling and so we have not seen any fat atrophy. You should not see much of a difference with weight gain or loss but this also has not been studied.Other areas of the body with dimpling, it is important to make sure it is truly cellulite before treatment.It is common to have swelling bruising and firmness after the procedure. This can last for a few weeks.It is different than Cellulaze which is a laser. If you have had previous poor results with cellulaze, you can still do Cellfina.Cellfina has shown 100% noticeable improvement and 96% satisfaction in all patients at 2 years. Cellfina is designed to be a one time procedure.
