Hi, How do I achieve the hollow cheeks look male models tend to have. I have fairly high cheekbones but I only see hollow cheeks when I pout which pulls the skin on my face. Do I need to lose more weight? I'm 6 foot 75kg
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: The "hollow cheek" Look It is hard to say what you will need to achieve hollow cheeks without a photo. Typically an individual that has the angular face that you are describing has two things: High, prominent cheek bones and a square, dominant jaw bone. Given your height and weight ratio you are not at all over weight. You could almost be considered slightly under weight. So I don't think you losing more weight is going to help you achieve the "hollow cheeks" look you want. Using a combination of implants, fillers such as radiesse, and/or liposuction may help you get the look you describe. As always a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended.

Answer: How do I achieve the hollow cheeks? Without seeing you or seeing photos of you, it is very hard to say exactly what you would need to achieve your goal. I do have a lot of male patients who desire that look. Men are very handsome when they have angularity to their faces. I use a combination of cheek implants and Radiesse to the jawline to achieve this goal. Some patients need facial liposculpting.

Answer: Hollow cheeks The look you are describing , "hollow cheeks", can best be achieved through a combination of cheek implants to get both lifting and definition of the malar area and eminence and some degree of facial liposuction. Weight loss may be needed but I can only speculate on this without a photo of your face. Some surgeons will also do malar fat pad extractions but I am personally not a fan of the results obtained by this surgery. Again without photos I can only speculate that a combination of cheek implants and facial liposuction will do the trick. This is done in my office operating room in about 1 hour with simple and safe local anesthesia. In less than a week you look fantastic and will see your results.
