HPV by itself will not prevent you from having surgery.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CABoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
hello, thanks for your question and provided information as well.. yes you can have the procedure done. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.
HPV is a very common virus that is sexually transmitted but supposedly if you have had at least 5 sexual partners in your life, you carry the virus. Some versions of the virus cause warts and other cause cervical cancer. You just need to make sure that all of that is under control and that you follow your OBGYN's recommendations for the HPV. This should not affect a BBL/TT.
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Yes, it is absolutely possible to have a BBL, even if you have have HPV. It is estimated that over 70% of US adults are positive for some type of HPV. It is essential that you have an in-person consultation to develop a treatment plan that specifically addresses your personal surgical goals, and your body’s particular anatomy. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help refine this plan. It is essential that you find a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of patients with similar anatomy who have had similar procedures. If you have any questions, we are happy to help. Good luck!Best, Jon Ver Halen, MD FACS Harvard educated plastic surgeon Texas “Top Doc”

It's hard to tell based on pictures alone if this would be fat necrosis versus and infection. It would be best if you follow up with your surgeon and that person places a needle in the area and see what comes out. This can be done very easily under local anesthesia in an office visit. If pus...
It's hard to predict the future of exactly what will happen. You may need more aspirations or you may not. at this point following up with your surgeon so they can keep a close eye on the situation would be best. There are no supplements that will help prevent necrosis although vitamin C always ...
