Is DerMatch safe for hair loss?

Question

wondering if DerMatch which is pretty much a hair loss concealer is safe to use. just want to know if this can cause further hair loss ? I know toppik which is a keratin based concealer is safe and natural. Wondering if its the same with this product. It claims to be different than toppik, and cabooki but also natural. Please let me know

DermMatch has been used by countless numbers of my patients and I have not encountered problems. It is a very different type of a product than the keratin type fibers you have mentioned. DermMatch is formally known as a powder cake. It comes in a circlular dish with applicators much like a shoe polish. I advise a good portion of my patients to purchase both fibers and DermMatch and see which they like best. You can read more in the paper below we wrote about these agents and how they are used.

Many of our patients use this. It is like a shoe polish but works well to color the scalp to reduce the contrast with the skin and hair color
