Dermal fillers for cheeks. Will it make my under eye area look worse?

Question

I would like to know if I have Ellanse or Radiesse done to counteract the loss of volume I have in my cheeks, will it make the area under my eyes more noticeable? I am afraid that by injecting a filler to improve the loss of volume I have in the cheeks it will create a weight and to a certain extend drag down the under-eye area making it look even worst since I do have some under-eye sagginess

In my experience treating the midface and cheek and putting back the lost volume and support in the area  frequently improves the under eye area. The product needs to be injected deeply into the tissue to put the scaffolding back. When done correctly you will have a really natural rejuvenated result

Only in person detailed examination by an experienced injecting MD can determine if your issues are real. I might suggest to try short acting fillers like Restylane or Juvederm before using these semi permanent ones.>

One of the benefits that I have found over the years is that the proper placement of Voluma in the mid-face is that you have the added benefit of improving the under eye area.  The initial studies showed that Voluma improved the under eye area as well.  I have had many patients who had plastic surgery (face lifts) and this area was still a problem- but putting Voluma in the malar area remarkably improved it.
