Ellanse for lip augmentation?

I have seen Ellanse advertised for lip augmentation stating results can last 1 - 4 years. I would like to hear feedback from any other Dr's using Ellanse as a lip filler please?

Hi LeeshaaThanks for your question. I can only say what we use - re Juvederm as we are getting good results from this. Intraline is also another very good natural product.Usually fillers will last anywhere from 6 months to a year so not sure about the 4 year longevity.Just make sure you do your homework and go and see a qualified and experienced surgeon who can advise you on the best outcome for your results.

Ellanse is NOT indicated for use in the lips- it carries a high risk of nodule formation

Please consider a HA filler such as Juvederm for lip augmentation

Whoever is advertising Ellanse for Lip is going to run into big problems down the road

Ellanse
is able to deliver some fantastic results in many areas of the face, but it is
not recommended for use in the lips as it is a collagen stimulating filler.  Instead, we would recommend that lips should
be treated with an HA filler, such as Perfectha which comes from the same
product stable as Ellanse.

Ellanse is an incredible product but it is not recommended for use in the lip. You can use it in the perioral area around the lip but not in the lip body.
A gel hyaluronic acid filler is advocated for use in the lip, due to the lip being a vascular area to treat. If the treatment has any complications you need to be able to dissolve the product,

Ellanse is not for use in the lips. Basically all collagen stimulators (Ellanse, Sculptra, Radiesse) are not suitable for use in the lips.
