Everything was fine until I was told to wear my 3 Lipo foams ... took them off after about 2 hours and noticed these scary marks !! Please tell me this is not what I think it is (necrosis) , I am hundreds and hundreds of miles from my surgeon and I don't want to call him freaking out. I'm one week post op BBL/Lipo ! Please , I need to know I'm terrified !
Answer: Compression Garment Burn? (Necrosis) or just Bruising? I'm 1 week Post Op BBL! Good morning. Thanks for your question. I have to say that you're still early on healing process, you will be swollen and also with many bruises for couple of weeks. It is completely normal, if you're felling that the garment's burning you, use soft fabric and put them inside your faja to prevent burns.

Answer: Post op BBL Hi and thanks for the question and photos. It does not appear that you have any tissue necrosis and the marks on your body just appear to be normal bruising. Make sure that you forward these pics on to your ps for advice on whether to continue the garment and foam or not, but I do not see a reason to discontinue them. Best of Luck - Dr. Hardy...

Answer: Compression Garment Burn? Thank you for your question. You are very early in your recovery period. It does appear based on the photos that you have edema (swelling) and bruising, which could last several weeks or months. It is best that an in person exam is done by your surgeon to see the areas that you are concerned about. If you are too far away to see your surgeon, you can always see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area. I will provide a link for you to do a search. Also, call your surgeons office to see if they offer any webcam/facetime option for follow up. Congratulations on your surgery and best wishes with your recovery.
