Hello @Mumma_Hunter, thank you for your question. You need to keep in mind that the right side of the face is not the same as the left side, so the results of surgical and non-surgical procedures will be different on both sides. I would suggest enhancing the volume above the eyebrow a bit to balance out the eyes. For more information and recommendations, it is prudent to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
You actually have a bilateral issue. There is an A-frame change in the left upper eyelid but you appear to have bilateral upper eyelid ptosis with a compensatory eyebrow elevation (look how active your forehead muscles are). You need crease lowering, upper eyelid fat transposition, and anchor blepharoplasty. The position of the eyebrows should be carefully assessed to determine if they have been positioned too high.
Although, from this one picture, it is hard to say anything precisely. it appears that your surgeon missed the fact that you have ptosis (eyelid droop). This, unfortunately, is not that uncommon. If this is the case, you need to see a plastic or ophthalmic plastic surgeon significantly experienced in eyelid revision and ptosis surgery. (See the last example in the supporting link.)
They are highly responsive to injection with corticosteroids. The dose you would need for the chalazia is relatively small. There is very little data on the risk of a kenalog injection. There not good evidence that steroids cause preterm labor or preeclampsia. Early in pregnancy there is weak...
Hi @lunascorpio. Based on your photos, you would be a great candidate for a lower lid blepharoplasty. Common reasons for lower blepharoplasty include pseudoherniation of the orbital fat pads and tear trough deformity. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question and pictures! To answer your question, botox in your glabellar area and a blepharoplasty would address your concerns. Horizontal eyelid wrinkles and sogginess can be corrected with blepharoplasty or cosmetic eyelid surgery. It is one of the first cosmetic surgeries...
It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow,...
Thank you for your questions and pictures! Upper eyelid hooding can be corrected with an upper blepharoplasty. It is one of the first cosmetic surgeries people usually get. While the average age might be 30 to 50's, some patients get this done in their 20s. It really depends on your unique...
