Hi, I am a 22 year old Caucasian male. Since I was a kid I have always had dark circles. In my case the dark circles are a combination of (thin under eye skin, brown pigmentation and slight hollowing). From my research I've concluded that my under eye skin lacks subcutaneous fat, along with deep sub-orbicularis oculi fat. It is this volume issue along with thin skin, that leads to the direct reflection of blue and purple light (not enough collagen or volume to scatter the light) My Question: Will placing deep filler right at the bone -> inorder to mimic sub-orbicularis oculi fat, help in the diffusion of light. Thus leading to less blue and purple light returning. When researching this I was sceptical as the veins and orbicularis muscle will lay above the deep filler. I also plan to have PRP done or fractional laser to address the collagen and pigmentation issues. I am aware of the blue tynell effect filler that occurs when filler is inject subcutaneously Another option you could say is fat grating injection, but I fell like this is more risky interms of stable outcome. Thanks!!!
