Hi there I have heavy jowls and neck sagging, I’ve previously had fat grafting to my cheeks and I was wondering would a mid facelift be adequate to correct this?
Answer: Not a mid facelift For your sagging jowls, you need a standard facelift which addresses the lower face. This can be taken care of with a standard SMAS lift or a deep plane lift.

Answer: Facial aging a facelift would be the best option as it would address the midface, lower face and upper neck . a midfacelift would only address the midface and your focus should be on the lower face skin excess.

Answer: Mid face and Lower face lifting Thank you for your question. Deep plane midface lift can effectively reposition the fat compartments on the midface but will not be enough to address the jowls and neck. On the photo, the fats on the cheeks are nice and full however, they also seem to be positioned lower than they should be. This could be due to continuing aging process therefore fats initially injected may descend together with their designated compartments. Deep plane full face and neck lift will be a better option to address the midface, jowls and neck by repositioning the fat compartments, addressing the fullness and excess soft tissue forming the jowls and smoothening the neck contour.

Answer: What you need to know about a facelift Hello, and thank you for providing images along with your question. Based on these images, you will need a more comprehensive approach to addressing your degree of skin laxity. A standard facelift may be more appropriate for you. A traditional rhytidectomy surgery, the more formal name for a facelift, helps to address more advanced signs of aging, such as sagging skin, jowl formation, and moderate to severe facial wrinkles and creases by tightening the skin, restoring definition, and rejuvenating your appearance. With a facelift, a surgeon will raise the soft tissue of the cheek to ensure a natural appearance. The indentation on either side of the chin, known as the pre-jowl sulcus, can also be smoothed by a facelift. To understand the procedure better and to determine your eligibility, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Your surgeon can assess your skin quality and facial profile, determine the best surgical approach, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: Facelift A midface lift will do nothing for you. You need a standard facelift to address the neck and jowls. Midface lifts don’t do much but in your case is particularly not needed.
